UNESCO’s expert, Asad Sayef, visited the Fars province on Thursday, October 6, 2005, to visit and review the works and activities of the Sassanian-based global registration file in Fars.
The mana project was also presented at this visit, warmly welcomed by the representative of UNESCO. While appreciating the efforts, he emphasized the need to use new technologies in the field of archeology and tourism and encouraged the team to develop software for other areas. He also emphasized that such software would require fast and continuous updates based on technological advances.
He also pointed out that Iranian specialists, researchers, and the Iranian workforce, in turn, have the knowledge of work, and can interact with science and technology with other global tourism sites.
